Riger Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd is a high technology enterprise specialized in the development, production, sales and services of broadband products, cable installation equipment and other systems.

The company began its operations in 1994, embarking on bringing new and latest technology to the market.

In Feb 1995, Riger has successfully demonstrated the first 2Mbit/s ADSL Modem for Telekom Malaysia Berhad, modem from AMATI Communication Corp of USA using Discrete Multi-Tone (DMT). Today, Riger is one of the main suppliers of ADSL modem in Malaysia.

Riger has, in 1995, also introduced a new technology for installation of optic fibre cable using air-blowing. In this field, we are the first company in Malaysia to install optic fibre cable using air-blowing technique in co-operation with Plumettaz of Switzerland.

Riger, during the summer of 1997, established a Joint-Venture company with Dura-Line International of USA to set up a facility to manufacture HDPE smooth wall duct with permanently pre-lubricated Silicore. The manufacturing facility, located in the State of Selangor has 5 production lines servicing the Malaysian telecommunication, utility & construction markets, ASEAN markets (Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Philippines etc), the Middle East markets (Jordan, UAE etc) and other Worldwide markets (Bangladesh, India, China etc).

Riger will continue to source, develop and produce high technology product & system to bring added value service to the market place to contribute constructively in line with our Malaysian Governments mission to achieve Developed Nation Status.
